Equine Consumer Reports: Fiebings 4-Way Care


Fiebings 4 Way Care is an easy-to-use, economical choice that performed very well in our tests. It easily lifted out embedded dirt and grime and left leather with a subtle shine. This cleaner proved its use on a variety of leathers, including softer hides such as those used on boots.

We liked that this cleaner is very versatile- cleaning and conditioning all in one- with the added benefit of waterproofing properties. This cleaner was a good choice when first breaking in/ cleaning new leathers. It did not noticeably darken our test leathers, and its application is very simple.

This cleaner ranks very high on our list and is safe for frequent use. It is a useful product when breaking in leather gear. Cleaning with Fiebings 4-Way before equipment’s first use was very beneficial in preventing any cracking or warping of cheap and expensive leathers alike.

Overall, Fiebings 4 Way Care is a highly economical choice that performs among the higher priced brands. We like that it replenishes the oils used in the tanning processes.
